Wizz Air is expanding its network to include a new destination in Bulgaria.
Plovdiv, Bulgaria’s cultural capital, will be served by the low-cost carrier from Luton airport.
From November 3, three flights each week will be available to the country’s second largest city, with one-way rates starting at £17.99.
Wizz Air will now operate more than 80 destinations from Luton Airport as a result of the new service.
Despite delaying the opening of a new base at Cardiff airport, the airline has launched more than 35 additional routes in the UK in the last year.
Marion Geoffroy, managing director of Wizz Air UK, said: “We are delighted to announce the addition of another destination to our network from London Luton Airport, Wizz Air’s first and largest base in the UK.
“As our UK network continues to grow, we are on the lookout for enthusiastic cabin crew and pilots to join our team.”
