With the revision of its Covid-19 policies, Windstar Cruises will no longer need passengers to take a pre-cruise test, unless mandated by one of the nations on its current itinerary.
The modifications will apply to cruises leaving on or after 6th September only. All visitors will continue to be required by Windstar to receive a complete Covid vaccination as part of its health and safety program.
The line must abide by all local laws and regulations in every nation it travels through as an exception to this new testing method. Currently, pre-testing is still necessary before boarding any ship in the waters of Canada, Greece, Australia, and New Zealand.
“Safety and wellness are our first concern, and these new procedures will simplify the process of sailing with us on a fully vaccinated ship,” said Chris Prelog, President of Windstar Cruises.
