The W Costa Navarino will debut in August, marking the entry of W Hotels Worldwide into Greece.
The new 13-hectare beachfront property will only be available to adults and children over the age of 12 and is located in the Navarino Waterfront resort region, which is 40 minutes by car from Kalamata International Airport.
The Fabulous Infinity Swim Up Rooms at The W Costa Navarino, which provide direct access to one of the swimming pools, and the Spectacular Panorama Rooms, which promise mesmerizing views, are among the accommodations available when the hotel opens its doors on 11th August. The Wow Beachfront Infinity Villas provide direct beach access, an outside private balcony, and a pool.
The property was built by Greek architects Tombazis and Associates, who included traditional architectural aspects from the area while utilizing natural materials including stone, wood, and reed. MKV Design, a London-based company, was in charge of the neutral-colored guest rooms’ interiors.
One dining choice is Platia, the hotel’s version of a neighborhood Greek deli food market that serves food and beverages all day. It was created by K-Studio Architects and Tombazis of Athens, with interior design by MKV Design.
The Between bar features live DJ performances, beverages, and a supper menu that is primarily raw. It is intended to be visited at twilight. Interior Design Laboratorium in Athens produced the interiors.
Additionally, there is the brand’s iconic W Lounge, which is open 24/7 and will serve beverages while live music and DJs from around the world and Greece provide the background music.
The dining and late-night Mediterranean beach club Parelia, which views out into the Bay of Navarino’s long sandy shore, will also feature local and foreign DJs.
Visitors can also learn about the regional cuisine and beverages by taking part in traditional village cooking courses and local wine and olive oil tastings.
The property’s Away Spa, which offers treatments, a gym, and a 25-meter pool, is the place to go if you want to unwind. There are beach bootcamp courses, splash FIT, beach power Pilates, meditation, and yoga for those who want something more physically active. Sporty tourists can also go bicycling, hiking, sailing, and rock climbing, and there will be a new water sports facility in 2023.
The portfolio of 30 brands owned by Marriott Bonvoy includes over 60 W Hotels worldwide.
