This week, Viva Cruises launches a brand-new season of European river sailings.
In the months leading up to March, the business will deploy two vessels at a time when the majority of other lines are still in hibernation for the winter.
Today (19TH January), a series of four-night cruises will depart.
The first ships to depart from their home port of Düsseldorf to other locations in Germany, as well as to Belgium and the Netherlands, are the Viva One and Viva Moments.
Passengers on Viva Moments can partake in beer and cheese tastings, while Viva One will provide wellness-themed sailings with a 30-minute massage.
Andrea Kruse, the chief operations officer, said: “For the second year in a row, the occupancy rates of our voyages for the first three months of 2023 are very good and we are more than satisfied with the current demand.
“We have a number of guests who discovered travelling on the river at the beginning of the year and who want to start 2023 in the best way – with a little time out. We are the only river tour operator to provide this opportunity.”
