The five times per week, direct flights by Vistara will connect Mumbai with Heathrow.
The service, which is scheduled to go live on 1st June, will operate on Boeing’s 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which has three classes: business, premium economy, and economy.
According to the airline, which is in the process of merging with Tata Group-owned Air India, reservations for the flights are gradually becoming available on Vistara’s website, its mobile app, and through travel agents.
It also stated that it intended to gradually grow its widebody fleet in order to further penetrate the European market.
Chief Executive Officer of Vistara Vinod Kannan said: “Mumbai-London will be our fourth route to Europe after connecting Frankfurt, Paris and London with Delhi.
“This additional gateway offers our customers more options and flexibility with their travel itineraries.
“We look forward to further expanding our presence in Europe, especially with more widebody aircraft joining our fleet in the coming months.”
