Virgin’s new rewards club, Virgin Red, has a spectacular new offer for UK members of Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club.

All Flying Club members, both new and existing, will be able to link their Flying Club account to their Virgin Red account and create a shared Virgin Points balance that they can be used across both programmes.

Loyalty members will now have many more earning and spending opportunities for their “universal Virgin currency”. Points can be used for a variety of purchases, such as Greggs sausage rolls, theatre tickets through London Theatre Direct, Marks and Spencer and Etsy. Points can be redeemed for a variety of products and services such as a seat upgrade on Virgin Atlantic or to support charitable causes through Virgin Money Giving.

Virgin will be contacting Flying Club members over the coming weeks with more information about Virgin Red. New members joining Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club from 8th February 2021 will be automatically enrolled into the Virgin Red rewards club as soon as they have linked and activated their account.

500 bonus Virgin Points

To sweeten the offering further, new loyalty members of the Virgin Red programme will receive 500 bonus points with their first transaction made via the app. The bonus only applies if the transaction is made through the Virgin Red app. The points from the transaction must be credited by 31st July 2021 in order to trigger the 500 bonus points.
