Virgin Atlantic to Launch Direct Route from London Heathrow to Tampa

Virgin Atlantic has announced a new direct route from London Heathrow to Tampa, launching on 3rd November 2022.

The new year-round Florida service will supplement the airline’s up to four daily flights to Orlando and twice daily flights to Miami. It will begin flying four times a week and increase to daily service on 28th November. Following the airline’s May 2022 introduction of direct flights between London and Austin, Texas, this most recent addition was made.

The Gulf Coast vacation cities of St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Clearwater are all easily accessible from Tampa. The third-largest city in Florida is renowned for its history and culture as well as for being the base of the legendary ice hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Super Bowl champions, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Additionally within fairly short driving distance are the theme parks at Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Busch Gardens. Virgin Atlantic Holidays will be expanding its selection of hotels and fly-drive vacations around the region.

Flights go on sale on July 13, 2022, on Wednesday.
