United Airlines to Operate Second Daily Trip from Heathrow to Los Angeles

Beginning in March of next year, United Airlines will operate a second daily trip from Heathrow to Los Angeles, increasing its daily frequency from Heathrow to the US to 23.

The additional LA trip expands on the expansion of services recently to New York/Newark, San Francisco, and Denver, as well as the addition of a service to Boston.

Sales director for the UK and Ireland, Bob Schumacher, stated: “London continues to be an integral part of United’s global route network and we are excited to announce this further expansion from London Heathrow to the US.

“We expect another busy summer for international travel in 2023 and are proud to build on our industry-leading global network to offer our customers in the UK even greater travel choice and the possibility to connect via our US hubs to other destinations across the Americas.”

Beginning on 26th March 2023, a twice-daily service will run from Heathrow to LAX. Departures on Boeing 787-9 aircraft will leave Heathrow at 11.05 am and 4.15 pm and LAX at 12.45 pm and 5.15 pm.
