To satisfy rising Easter demand, Tui has announced additional flights to Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Turkey in April.
The extra flights from Manchester and Gatwick will be provided by the operator.
From 6th April, an additional weekly flight from Gatwick to Cancun will be available, as will a trip from Manchester. Tui will then fly to its top long-haul sun destination 17 times a week.
From 3rd April, an additional weekly flight from Manchester to Punta Cana will be available, bringing Tui’s total weekly flights to the Dominican Republic to eight during the Easter and summer months.
Turkey, according to Tui, is still one of the most popular short-haul sun destinations. In April, two additional weekly flights from Manchester to Antalya will be added to accommodate demand, bringing the total number of weekly flights to 13 during Easter. In May, there will be 22 weekly flights, and in June, there will be 47.
Tui’s commercial and business development director, Richard Sofer, said: “We’re seeing strong demand for family packages this Easter. There has been a general uptick for long-haul across the year and Easter bookings for Mexico and Dominican Republic are back to pre-Covid levels.
“Destinations nearer home are also looking positive as easier entry for teenagers and some great value offers, particularly in Turkey, unleash pent up demand. These additions mean customers can now choose from over 870 flights to 35 destinations this Easter.”
Tenerife, Egypt, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Lanzarote, and Turkey are among Tui’s best-selling Easter locations.
