The Westin is Back in Manila

With the launch of the Westin Manila in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Marriott has expanded its portfolio of Westin hotels there in collaboration with Robinsons Land Corp.

The opening signifies Westin’s return to the nation since they previously ran a well-liked resort along Manila Bay on the city’s renowned Roxas Boulevard. In 2006, Accor took over administration of the building and changed its name to Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.

The brand-new Westin Manila is located in Mandaluyong’s Ortigas CBD, which serves as a hub for the city’s leading business districts, malls, hospitals, and hotspots for dining and entertainment.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport is around 10 kilometers away or 23 minutes away by car. The MRT3 Shaw Boulevard Station is about 10 minutes away by foot from the hotel.

The hotel’s 32 floors house 303 rooms, including 57 suites. Rooms and suites come equipped with the brand’s signature Heavenly Bed, Nespresso coffee makers, bluetooth speakers, complimentary Wi-Fi, and 55-inch flat Samsung TVs. They also provide views of the cityscape of Metro Manila.

The premium Club Lounge, which offers afternoon tea, hors d’oeuvres, and evening cocktails, is also available to guests staying in the Westin Club rooms and suites, which have separate living spaces.

The hotel has four food and beverage outlets, a 24-hour fitness center with a full selection of contemporary cardio, resistance, and TRX stability equipment, a 25-meter outdoor pool, a pool deck, a separate kids’ pool for families, and a total of 1,063 square meters of meeting and function space, including the Sonata Ballroom with seven-meter high ceilings and an integrated LED wall. The opening of a spa is planned for June 2023.

In addition to guided runs to discover the location hosted by the property’s Run Concierge, the RunWestin program offers tailored run route maps with a choice of three or five-mile runs.  The most recent high-tech recovery and complete body strength training equipment is available to guests through the next-generation WestinWorkout Gear Lending program in-room, on-demand, so they can maintain their fitness while traveling.
