PARKROYAL takes great pleasure in fostering a strong sense of belonging to the location. It is renowned for its contemporary style of travel that aims to find lively connections in the area. The 538-room HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel is housed on the 18th through the 38th floors of the TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER and offers a diverse mix of original music and art that is inspired by the thriving entertainment scene of Shinjuku’s Kabukicho neighbourhood.
Nine guest rooms that depict the ancient art history and culture of Kabukicho and Shinjuku were created by the hotel in partnership with renowned local artists Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, Takuro Tamayama, and Tomoyuki Washio as part of the brand’s signature of a “Gateway to Vibrant Locale.” These artists used distinctive furnishings and vibrant colours to weave in the historical events and local charm that reflect the heritage and pop culture of the city.
The hotel’s newest dining and bar venue, JAM17, which is located on the 17th level, is well-liked by both domestic and foreign tourists. It has a rooftop terrace with a huge live screen and live entertainment. Weddings, cocktail parties, and celebrations are all ideal for the outdoor area. The name of the restaurant and bar is a reference to the popular music jam session.
The JAM17 DINING restaurant and bar serve a variety of traditional Italian cuisine, such as pizza, pasta, grilled fish and signature roasts. The JAM17 GELETARIA offers a mouthwatering array of gelato flavours, making it the ideal after-dinner treat. For a nightcap, stop into JAM17 BAR and sample a selection of inventive drinks created by award-winning Shingo Gokan from Tokyo’s illustrious SG Club.
