On the northern shore of Phu Quoc island, The Lux Collective will debut a luxurious overwater resort in the Maldives-style in Vietnam under the Lux Resorts & Hotels brand in late 2024.
The Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve, which is placed on the Unesco list, will be close to the villa-only Luxnam Phu Quoc. According to Paul Jones, CEO of The Lux Collective, “Inspired by the renowned overwater resorts of the Maldives, this is a first for Vietnam and the region.”
It will be situated between the beach and the jungle, with a four-kilometer jetty spanning the lagoon to connect the two resort zones. The resort will have 126 villas available, including two penthouses, two beachfront pool mansions, 13 beach pool villas, and 109 overwater villas. There are possibilities for lodging with one to five bedrooms.
Restaurants, four swimming pools, a playground for kids, a spa, and a fitness center will all be available as amenities.
P Q Hai Quoc Joint Stock Company and the hospitality group The Lux Collective will collaborate on the project. According to Bao Vu, chairman of P Q Hai Quoc, “We are confident that this long-term strategic alliance will help to promote Phu Quoc as a heaven-on-earth destination – mapping it as the Maldives of Vietnam”
Now, The Lux Collective oversees 16 resorts and hotels in Mauritius, China, the Maldives, and Ile de la Reunion. Additionally, 12 additional properties are currently being developed in south-east Asia, China, Europe, and the Middle East.
