Thailand Officially Opens to 46 Countries by November 1

Thailand will officially open its doors to fully immunized travelers from 46 nations on 1st November 2021. With the following conditions:

• Fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed to fly into Thailand if they have been at least 21 days in one of 46 countries before to travel (this isn’t about citizenship, but rather where you’ve been).
• Within 72 hours after travel, a coronavirus RT-PCR test will be required.
• On the day of arrival, a second RT-PCR coronavirus test will be necessary, and the tourist must remain in their lodging until the result is negative.
• Travelers must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of $50,000.

Thailand’s Prime Minister, Prayut Chan-o-cha, first revealed the idea a little over a week ago. Many people questioned whether this would truly happen, considering the seemingly constant reopening plans that have yet to materialize. According to Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it appears that this time is different.

There is one crucial aspect to make when planning your trip to Thailand. While the country will open to tourists on 1st November, the goal is to keep the 10 p.m. curfew in place, as well as pubs and restaurants that do not offer alcohol.

Thailand is now open to visitors who have spent the previous 21 days in one of 46 approved countries prior to their arrival. The 46 countries are as follows:
