Thailand is loosening its Covid-19 restrictions even more by abolishing all tests for properly vaccinated travelers beginning 1st May.
From the beginning of next month, vaccinated overseas visitors will no longer be required to take any pre-departure or on-arrival tests due to the reduction of entrance criteria.
They will, however, need to apply for a Thailand Pass and provide proof of vaccination and travel insurance.
Unvaccinated visitors will no longer be required to undergo a test upon arrival in Thailand, but will be required to apply for a Thailand Pass and provide proof of a five-day hotel reservation and insurance.
They must go into quarantine for five days once they arrive in Thailand and take a PCR test on the fifth day of their stay.
Visitors who have not been vaccinated can avoid quarantine if they submit a negative PCR test result within 72 hours of arriving in Thailand.
