St. Joe Company and IHG Hotels & Resorts Open Hotel Indigo Downtown Panama City Marina

The St. Joe Company (NYSE: JOE) and IHG Hotels & Resorts have announced the launch of the Hotel Indigo Downtown Panama City Marina, a 124-room hotel situated in the historic waterfront district of downtown Panama City, Florida. The five-story hotel offers stunning views of St. Andrews Bay and a convenient location within walking distance of locally owned restaurants, bars, and businesses that contribute to the area’s unique and historic charm.

Hotel Indigo properties are designed to reflect the distinctive characteristics of their surroundings and embrace the local culture of their communities. Each hotel becomes an integral part of its location, drawing inspiration from the area’s rich heritage to shape every aspect, from captivating design to locally sourced ingredients featured on the menus. Guests at Hotel Indigo Downtown Panama City Marina can enjoy two on-site dining options: Tarpon’s, which serves a delightful Southern twist on coastal cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with water views; and Steam on 5, an open-air fifth-floor dining venue that serves fresh local seafood and carefully crafted cocktails, all accompanied by breathtaking views of St. Andrews Bay.

In addition to amenities such as high-speed internet, complimentary parking, a private pool, an outdoor fire pit, and a 24-hour fitness center, guests of the hotel can also take advantage of an onsite retail shop. The opening of Hotel Indigo Downtown Panama City Marina marks the fourth out of five new hotel openings planned for the first half of 2023. St. Joe’s hotel portfolio now includes 1,102 operational rooms, with two additional hotels currently under construction. Camp Creek Inn is set to open later in June of this year, while Residence Inn by Marriott Panama City Beach is scheduled to open in 2024. These upcoming additions will bring St. Joe’s total portfolio to 1,298 rooms upon completion.
