SPL Villas Adds Florida Properties to Complement its Mediterranean Offers

SPL Villas intends to broaden its portfolio by adding Florida properties to complement its Mediterranean offers.

After growing its portfolio during the epidemic to offer as wide a selection as possible when green lists and limitations were affecting travel decisions, the villa expert recently began collaborating with travel agents.

It intends to reach 2,000 by the end of the year, and in the following weeks, it will launch Florida as its first non-Mediterranean range.

Work is being done “behind the scenes,” according to managing director Ed Frampton-Fell, and the product should be available “in the next month or two.”

“Disney is obviously the big draw,” he said. “I’m a big Florida advocate. I spent quite a bit of time over there and I love like the Keys and the Gulf coast as well.”

The brand had 300 villas around the Med when it launched in January 2021, and only just began selling to the trade after the range had grown to 900.

“If there was a star rating, we’d say everything on our website is four to five-star with a luxury blend on top of that,” he explained.

The average weekly cost is around £4,000, however, some villas are available for less than £1,000, while others cost between £10 and £15,000.
