The Amalfi coast has been added as a new travel destination for 2023 by Solmar Villas.
The operator has launched a portfolio of 20 homes in the Italian region, and reservations are now being accepted for 2019.
With 10,000 bookings per year, the company’s program now offers more than 800 residences in 22 locations.
Thirty employees work for the Burton-on-Trent company in the UK, while another 35 are in-resort villa managers.
Julie Blake, the managing director and one of the company’s founders’ daughters, has been in charge of it for the past 28 years.
Blake said: “There’s no doubt that travellers are looking to holiday in destinations which offer something extra – and the amazing Amalfi coast can deliver that.
“Our guests increasingly want to really experience the destinations in which our hand-picked properties are located, whether that’s indulging in the local cuisine or feeding a craving for culture.
“This stretch of coastline, with its pretty towns and villages and memorable views, has a connection to the glory days of the 1950s when life was much simpler and there’s a growing trend of travellers wanting to visit precisely because of this.
“And of course, it’s more recently become the destination of choice for celebrities including Angelina Jolie and her brood and the Kardashians, which probably has increased its visibility as a family holiday destination too.”
