As of today (13th February), travelers visiting Singapore who are not immunized may enter without presenting documentation of a negative pre-departure test.
Additionally, travelers who aren’t fully immunized won’t need to buy Covid-19 travel insurance.
The Asian city-state will no longer mandate masks on public transportation starting the next week.
However, while engaging with patients in healthcare and residential care settings, masks are still required.
A representative for the nation claimed that the populace had “acquired a high level of immunity from severe Covid-19” and that the health situation had “stabilized.”
Singapore announced intentions to recover from the pandemic more sustainably last year and stated that it would reach pre-pandemic visitor numbers “by mid-2025.”
