Silversea Cruises to Debut New Suite Category for Silver Endeavour

With the future refit of the Silver Endeavour, Silversea Cruises will debut two new stateroom types.

The expedition ship will dock at Genova’s San Giorgio del Porto port on 3rd April after a debut season in Antarctica.

Silversea will construct six new top suites on deck eight as well as four new suites on deck five, offering two new suite categories, in response to the significant demand for the ship’s larger accommodations.

Silversea will put two master suites and four signature suites in the spot where the former helicopter hangar had stood amidships.

“Silver Endeavour’s refurbishment will strengthen her status as the world’s most luxurious expedition ship,” said Roberto Bruzzone, Silversea’s senior vice president of marine operations.

“Building on the success of her inaugural Antarctic season, Silver Endeavour will welcome travellers in the Arctic from June 2023, offering deeper connections and greater destination reach than ever.”

The medical center will transfer to the area currently occupied by the casino on deck four, and will be replaced by four classic veranda suites on the starboard side of deck five.

The new master suites will have king-sized or twin beds, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate whirlpool bath, as well as 270-degree views from their 29m2 verandas and spacious sitting rooms.

Four new signature suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, king-sized or twin beds, an open living and dining area, and a walk-in closet will be available. These suites’ sizes will range from 67 to 78 square meters.

The existing layout, features, and facilities of Silversea’s veranda suites will be preserved in the four conventional veranda suites that will be added to deck four on the ship’s starboard side.

In addition, the elimination of the casino from deck 4 will provide room for four new crew cabins that can accommodate an additional seven crew members.

In addition, La Dame, Silversea’s renowned French restaurant, will soon have handcrafted Lalique crystal panels installed.
