Scenic to Feature Two New Sailings on the Danube on Its 2024 Program

Scenic has launched its 2024 European river cruise portfolio, featuring two new sailings on the Danube.

Together with more than 250 sailings and new extended river excursions, the launch is timed to coincide with the release of the company’s new Europe River Cruising 2024 Early Access brochure.

Andrea Stafford, head of trade sales at Scenic and Emerald Cruises, said: “2024 is already shaping up to be a great year for Scenic river cruising, and forward bookings for  European river cruises have taken off since our wave period started.

“Scenic’s latest 2024 Europe river cruise brochure celebrates this seminal year with commemorative D-Day landing itineraries, as well as city stay and cruise extensions.”

Upcoming sailings include the 10-day Danube in depth river trip, which will travel between Nuremberg and Budapest through Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. Prices start at £3,750 per person and there are 20 trips between April and October 2024.

The eight-day Iconic Danube River trip, which departs aboard the Scenic Jasper on 16th April 2024, costs £3,140 per person. It travels from Passau to Budapest.

Scenic’s river cruises have been merged to create new, longer itineraries, such the 22-day North Sea to the Black Sea journey, which starts in Amsterdam and ends in Bucharest, Romania. Costs begin at £8,020 per person.
