Heathrow service by Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has lasted 55 years.
In order to accommodate the rapidly increasing demand for travel, the airline has boosted its seat capacity to London by 51% and now operates 21 flights each week.
To fly to Riyadh and Jeddah, the airline uses a combination of Boeing 777-300ER and 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Hisham Bindkhail, regional manager for Europe, said: “The celebration of our 55th anniversary of operations to and from London Heathrow marks a special occasion for us.
“We are very proud to connect Saudi Arabia with the United Kingdom seven days a week.
“We are experiencing high demand on services, especially after the exemption of visa for Saudi nationals to the United Kingdom, which is encouraging for many who wish to travel.”
“We look forward to the next 55 years of operations in London and to welcoming our guests from the United Kingdom to experience Saudia on the ground and on board and enjoy a unique flight experience across all classes.”
