Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) has added a new weekly service from Manchester to its UK winter flying schedule.
The Saudi flag carrier has boosted the number of weekly flights from the UK city from four to five as of this month, bringing the service back to its pre-pandemic level.
Additionally, Saudia offers daily flights from Heathrow to Jeddah and the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Regional manager for Saudia in Europe, Hisham Bindkhail, said: “The UK is an important market.
“Our winter schedule includes connections to and from both major airports, Manchester and Heathrow, and gives guests a great flexibility when traveling to Saudi Arabia.
“We look forward to welcoming guests from the UK on our aircrafts.”
Leisure traffic, according to Bindkhail, was “fast going forward”.
Boeing B777-300 and B787-900 aircraft fly Saudia’s routes to and from the UK.
More than 100 destinations on four continents are connected by the carrier.
