With more than 20 additional regional routes to the UK, Ryanair has unveiled what it calls its “biggest-ever” winter timetable, expanding its network to 440 in total.
Liverpool-Rome, Birmingham-Venice, Newcastle-Barcelona, Bournemouth-Lanzarote, and Manchester-Podgorica are some of the new winter sun, ski, and city vacation possibilities. New flights have also been added to Lapland, Sicily, Scandinavia, and the Asturias.
Michael O’Leary, the CEO of Ryanair, launched the program on Tuesday, 30th August, and again criticized Heathrow for maintaining a capacity cap.
He also reaffirmed Ryanair’s position on OTA sales, which O’Leary criticized as engaging in “anti-consumer price-gouging” and warned were breaking the terms and conditions of the low-cost airline by offering Ryanair flights. He declared that Ryanair would once more request intervention from the Competition and Markets Authority.
