This winter, South Wales will get a new low-cost Algarve route.
Ryanair has stated that it intends to continue running its twice-weekly Cardiff-Faro route throughout the winter.
Ryanair will run the route starting on 30th October through May.
Flights will run on Wednesdays and Sundays, with Sunday flights leaving Cardiff at 10.15am and Wednesday flights leaving at 5.20pm.
One-way tickets start at £19.99.
According to Spencer Binns, CEO of Cardiff Airport, travel to the Algarve from Cardiff is popular all year round.
“We are pleased to see Ryanair growing further at Cardiff in the off-peak season after a busy summer with us,” added Binns.
