This winter, Ryanair will add six new routes from Newcastle thanks to the addition of two more aircraft based in the region.
In October, new flights to Barcelona, Cork, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Milan Bergamo, and Riga will begin, bringing the total number of Ryanair routes from Newcastle to 15.
According to Ryanair, the move will spend $200 million in Newcastle and result in the creation of 60 new direct employment. The winter schedule is Ryanair’s busiest ever out of Newcastle.
This winter, Ryanair will offer more than 80 flights each week from Newcastle to other sun- and city-seeking locations like Alicante, Krakow, and Malaga.
When booked by Friday (9th September), discounted sale rates for travel from October 2022 to January 2023 start at £21.99 per person.
All six new routes will be serviced by Ryanair twice weekly.
The additions, according to Ryanair’s director of commercial Jason McGuinness, highlighted the airline’s long-term dedication to Newcastle Airport and its development plan there.
