Royal Caribbean International is the most recent cruise line to ease the requirements for Covid-19 passenger testing.
The choice to welcome all visitors, regardless of their level of vaccination, was decided as travel restrictions around the globe continue to loosen as a result of the pandemic.
Pre-cruise testing is still necessary for some destinations, such as those with departures from Australia and US itineraries with stops in Colombia, Haiti, or Honduras.
The business claimed the modification to its procedures had been made as of Wednesday, 2nd November, “significantly simplifying the experience for its guests”.
It added: “The cruise line’s additional layers of health and safety measures exceed other vacation experiences, including the routine monitoring and vaccination of all crew members and keeping them up to date with boosters when they are eligible, enhanced testing and treatment capabilities in our onboard medical facilities, and more.”
