The Regent Seven Seas Splendor will provide a 16-night voyage to Iceland and Greenland this year. The unusual schedule, which sails from Southampton to Reykjavik, includes stops at ten different locations across five distinct nations.
The open-jaw voyage leaves England on 7th August and travels via Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Iceland before coming to an end on 23rd August. Along with well-known locations like Kirkwall and Akureyri, ports of call may also include lesser-known ports in the area like Paamiut.
The 1,600-person Greenlandic city will only be visited by four major cruise lines in 2023, and one of them is Regent Seven Seas.
The program also includes picturesque cruising through Southern Greeland’s Prince Christian Sound, a confined river renowned for its colorful scenery.
The itinerary for the voyage also includes stops in Torshavn, Qaqortoq, Grundarfjordur, and other places.
The Seven Seas Splendor provides a variety of itineraries in the area, with voyages covering not only Iceland and Greenland but also the British Islands, the Baltic, and more. The ship will spend the most of the summer in Northern Europe.
The Splendor, a sister ship of the Seven Seas Explorer, is the newest ship in the Regent Seven Cruises fleet at the moment.
According to Regent, the 2020-built ship has the highest space ratio in the cruise industry, weighing 56,000 tons and accommodating just 750 passengers.
A distinctive 4,443 square foot Regent Suite is additionally available at The Splendor. The lodging, which is on the top deck of the ship, is reputed to be the biggest suite ever built on a cruise ship.
The luxury cruise ship also offers a variety of specialized, casual, and main dining options, such as Prime 7, Regent’s flagship steakhouse, and Sette Mari at La Veranda, an Italian restaurant open for supper.
