Princess Cruises will resume operations in Australia this summer, after the conclusion of the country’s cruise ship prohibition next month.
In June, Coral Princess will return to the region, offering three- to 12-night round-trip Brisbane itineraries with stops in Queensland and New South Wales.
The line also announced additional deployment plans from the United States, including a return to homeport cruising in Galveston and San Diego in December and September, respectively.
Ruby Princess will sail from Galveston on a series of five to eleven-night cruises to sites in the Western Caribbean from December to April 2023. The first cruises go on sale on 7th April.
Diamond Princess will offer itineraries ranging from five to sixteen nights from September to February 2023, visiting ports throughout the Mexican Riviera, California Coast, and the Hawaiian Islands. The first cruises go on sale on 24th March.
For the 2022/2023 West Coast season, Royal Princess will relocate to San Francisco, providing round-trip voyages to Hawaii, Mexico, and the California Coast.
John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises, said: “Deploying these three ships to service over the next two months will mark the return of the entire Princess fleet, once our highly anticipated return to Australia is approved by local authorities.”
