Princess Cruise Announces Its Alaska 2024 Season

Princess Cruises has announced its Alaska 2024 season, which will mark the company’s 55th year of sailing in Alaska.

“We’re celebrating our 55th anniversary in 2024 cruising to this must-see destination, so whether it’s your first or fifth time visiting Alaska, we are ready to help guests make inspiring memories to last a lifetime.”

During the 2024 season, a total of seven ships will visit Alaska, sailing from four homeports, including San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, B.C., and Anchorage (Whittier).

158 departures, 14 distinct itineraries, 17 locations, five glacier viewing opportunities, and 86 trips to Glacier Bay National Park are all part of the 2024 season. On Saturdays and Sundays, the Discovery Princess and Majestic Princess, two of the cruise line’s ships, will set sail from Seattle on seven-day trips.

While the Crown Princess will set off from San Francisco on an 11-day version of the same trip, the Ruby Princess will sail from Vancouver on seven-day “Inside Passage” itineraries.

Princess Cruises is also bringing back the 17-night Ultimate Princess Connoisseur cruise tour, which includes two nights at each of the five Princess Wilderness Lodges, which are close to national parks like the Kenai Fjords, Wrangell St. Elias, and Denali National Park. This is due to the high demand for the tour.

The popular seven-day Voyage of the Glaciers cruise from Princess Cruises can be combined this season with additional three- to ten-night land tour options while staying at Princess Wilderness Lodges by tourists wishing to see more of Alaska.
