Prior to embarkation, Ponant no longer requires passengers to show documentation of a negative Covid-19 test.
In order to board, passengers must show confirmation of complete immunization (including a booster shot) or proof of two immunizations, provided the second was given within nine months of the date of departure.
The same is true for mask use, which is still “strongly recommended” both onboard and ashore but is no longer required for passengers to use.
Additionally, they may provide proof of a prior infection or one vaccination shot that was given more than two weeks before to the boarding and no more than four months prior to the boarding.
A test will only be required if local authorities say so. The test will be available for guests to take onboard.

Depending on the diagnosis of the ship’s doctor on the danger of infection, the quarantine procedures may be lowered in the event that a Covid case is discovered onboard.
The ship’s captain may need to reintroduce more stringent procedures, such as tests, mask wear, and quarantine if the risk on board were to rise.
