Oceania Cruises, a culinary and destination-focused cruise line, has announced that cruising will resume in August.
The 1,250-guest Marina will be the first cruise ship to return to the seas, with sailings to Scandinavia and Western Europe starting in Copenhagen on August 29, 2021.
“The entire Oceania Cruises team is excited to now turn our attention to safely restarting operations and finally welcoming back our guests to begin exploring the planet once again,” said Bob Binder, CEO of Oceania Cruises.
The entire fleet’s staggered restart dates will be announced at a later date.
The SailSAFETM Health & Safety program will be implemented on all ships, according to Binder, who adds, “At Oceania Cruises, we value health, well-being, and safety above all else.” Our visitors, crew, and, of course, the many amazing, devoted people who work with us in the destinations we visit are the lifeblood of our business, and we will do whatever we can to ensure their health and safety.”
