In October, the O2 Beach Club & Spa, a new premium all-inclusive hotel on Barbados’ south coast, will open.
The resort, which was previously known as Ocean Two Resort & Residences, has been redesigned and repositioned, and will soft debut on 1st October. A month later, on 1st November, the official opening will take place.
The hotel has a new modern design, accommodation, a variety of eating options, bars, and lounges, enhanced amenities, and a new premium all-inclusive concept that includes food and drink, spa treatments, and a variety of resort activities and island adventures.
The O2 Beach Club & Spa has 130 rooms and suites organized into three collections: the Club Collection, which includes 18 spacious ocean view or beachfront rooms; the Luxury Collection, which includes 42 adult-only suites; and the Concierge Collection, which includes 72 suites.
The Luxury Collection Suites are housed in a new nine-story tower with a fine dining restaurant and rooftop pool. Several swim-up suites are available, providing direct access to the adult-only river pool from the seclusion of their own patios.
The Luxury Collection Suites and the Concierge Collection Suites both have views of the Caribbean Sea and include a bottle of Champagne on arrival, a daily pre-stocked mini-bar with wine, a personalized concierge service, a spa credit per adult per stay, unlimited access to sister hotel the Sea Breeze Beach House during the day, and one golf game per person during the day.
Cocktail necessities in the pre-stocked minibar, in-room stocked grocery goods for the suite’s kitchen on request, and a Concierge Ambassador service is also included in Concierge Collection Suites.
A European eatery with 260-degree views of the south coast, a seaside grill, a nautical-themed rooftop tapas restaurant, and seven bars and lounges with a selection of spirits, wines, champagne, and cocktails are among the dining and beverage options.
A trio of swimming pools, including a rooftop pool, an adult-only river pool with a swim-up bar, and a selection of whirlpools on the sun terrace, is also available, with treatments crafted around the idea of ‘Wellness Through Water’ and the island’s first Bajan Hammam experience.
Water activities such as boogie boards, Hobie cats, and windsurfing are available to active guests and are overseen by Barbados Olympian O’Neal Marshall. Mixology workshops, steel pan drumming, salsa dance, rooftop yoga, and cooking classes are among the activities available on land.
Catamaran cruises, 4×4 jeep safaris, scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, golf, and horseback riding are just a few of the island activities available outside of the resort.
“We wanted to bring a taste of the island’s west coast luxury to the south coast and are confident that our new O2 Beach Club & Spa will take center-stage in Barbados’ luxury boutique offering with its exclusive accommodation, world-class dining, and personalized service – while at the same time maintaining the fun, casual vibe of the south coast,” Patricia Affonso-Dass, group general manager of Ocean Hotels Group said.
“From the moment they arrive, we want our guests to feel like the newest VIP members of the coolest Beach Club in Barbados.
“We are really looking forward to working with our agent and trade partners to showcase the new premium all-inclusive and luxury five-star experience of the O2 Beach Club & Spa to the UK consumer as well as hosting as many agents as we can so they can experience our new product for themselves.”
