Beginning on Tuesday, 4th October 2022, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) will no longer require any Covid-19 testing, masking, or vaccinations.
It stated in a statement: “Given the significant, positive progress in the public health environment, the cruise line updated its health and safety guidelines, which are now more aligned with other global travel organisations.”
President and CEO Harry Sommer said: “Many travellers have been patiently waiting to take their long-awaited vacation at sea and we cannot wait to celebrate their return.”
NCL will nevertheless adhere to the travel regulations mandated by the places it travels, despite relaxing its health and safety procedures.
The action comes in response to reports that other cruise companies, including Hurtigruten, Marella Cruises, and MSC Cruises, had relaxed Covid regulations.
