New Left Bank Lifestyle Hotel Opens Its Doors in Paris

Hôtel Dame des Arts, a buzzing new lifestyle hotel, debuts in Saint-Germain, Paris’s pulsating artistic district, on the Rive Gauche. The independent hotel is close to the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and features 109 rooms and suites, a spectacular rooftop bar with 360 degrees views of Paris’s top seven sites, a tastefully decorated restaurant with a courtyard garden, and a superb gym.

The interior design of the 1950s building was spearheaded by internationally renowned Paris-based designer Raphael Navot, the 2023 winner of the Maison&Objet “Designer of the Year Award.” Raphael Navot expertly combines Parisian elegance and an international twist with the essence of freedom, culture, and creativity that the Left Bank is renowned for.

Raphael Navot has created a hotel that blends in smoothly with its surroundings while bringing the neighborhood into a bright, exciting future by drawing on his talent for designing distinctive, beautiful spaces and furniture.

The Rooftop Bar, which offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the City of Light, including the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur, the golden dome of Les Invalides, and Notre Dame Cathedral, is the hotel’s most popular attraction. When it comes to the hotel’s culinary establishments, visitors can anticipate the unexpected. The previous operational director of Experimental Group, Matthieu Alfandari, conceptualized the Rooftop Bar and an inside restaurant with a nearby outdoor garden courtyard. The menu, prepared by Chef Othoniel Alvarez Castaneda, features seasonal dishes that combine traditional French cooking with a modern Mexican flare. Othoniel offers to the hotel a sustainable culinary vision where each menu item is inspired by one hero ingredient, emphasizing high-quality local products, and presented in a delightfully fun way. Although each guestroom is uniquely created, they all include bespoke art pieces, and more than one-third of the elegantly furnished guest bedrooms and suites have an outdoor terrace with views of either the Eiffel Tower or the rooftops of Paris.
