The MSC Seascape has been delivered to MSC Cruises in Italy in advance of the ship’s christening ceremony in New York the following month.
The 21st ship in the MSC fleet completes the line’s Seaside class and is the largest ship ever constructed in Italy.
The event in Monfalcone, Italy, was attended by Pierfrancesco Vago, executive chairman of MSC Cruises, and Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO of shipbuilder Fincantieri.
There are “options for al fresco dining and drinking” throughout roughly 13,000 square meters of outdoor space at MSC Seascape, which has 11 dining establishments, 19 bars, and lounges.
The 2,270-cabin ship, MSC Seascape, will depart from Miami after its naming ceremony on 7th December in New York, where it will cruise to the Caribbean.
Gianni Onorato, the chief executive of MSC Cruises, said: “MSC Seascape is the second ship to come into service this year bringing our modern fleet to 21 ships.
“We are proud to welcome her to our fleet as she is the second Seaside EVO ship and completes the innovative Seaside class.
“MSC Seascape aims to connect guests with the sea and offers a wealth of outdoor spaces allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Caribbean, where she will spend her inaugural season.”
