MSC Cruises Modified Covid-19 Rules and Standards

For trips from the UK starting in the next month, MSC Cruises has modified its Covid-19 rules and standards.

On 1st October, the term “necessary” for the full Covid-19 vaccination becomes “recommended.”

It will be advised but not necessary for all fully immunized travelers showing a valid vaccination certificate to test prior to boarding.

Unvaccinated passengers must still undergo a PCR or Antigen test within 48 hours of the ship’s departure.

Customers are further reminded by MSC Cruises that although Covid-19 insurance is not required, it is highly advised.

Other embarkation ports, including those in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Caribbean, have also been subject to modifications to the Covid-19 travel restrictions.
