MSC Cruises will remain Formula 1’s official cruise partner through the 2026 world championship. As part of the expansion of the global alliance, ships will be made available for ‘track to ship’ hospitality during specific grand prix weekends. The first involves MSC Virtuosa in Abu Dhabi for the season-ending Formula 1 race in order to offer lodging, hospitality, and transportation packages for spectators and VIPs.
On 23rd-27th November MSC Virtuosa will be in port, giving guests the chance to prolong their race weekend with a variety of packages combining lodging, race tickets, and privileged access. To correspond with races from the 2024 season, new ships will be deployed as part of the project. With other sponsorships to be disclosed, the business was also confirmed as the title sponsor of this year’s Belgian Grand Prix.
Pierfrancesco Vago, the line’s executive chairman, remarked: “Formula 1 and MSC Cruises are great partners on many levels and our successes are founded in teamwork.
“Not only this, but we are both driving towards sustainable change. We want to build the future of our industries and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
“We are both working at the forefront of our industries and helping to make a real difference. And this is why we are committed to Formula 1 for the long term and have extended our sponsorship as a global partner.”
Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, continued: “This collaboration has brought exceptional results, and we look forward to enhancing our relationship further. Together, we’ll continue pushing boundaries and setting new benchmarks in sports and hospitality.”
