The Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana has opened, according to Meliá Hotels International (“Meliá”), one of the top leisure hotel operators in the world with more than 380 hotels in 40 countries. Falcon’s Beyond is a major global entertainment development firm. It is the first resort to launch under Falcon’s Resorts by Meliá, a new leisure and entertainment-focused brand that provides a distinctive “resortainment” hospitality experience.

The new brand effortlessly combines first-rate resort services with amazing entertainment opportunities, including access to Katmandu Park | Punta Cana, a brand-new, top-notch theme park located only a few feet from the hotel.

Resort visitors will get exclusive access to a few attractions starting today through 15th March 2023, giving them an early look at the park before it opens to the general public. In the future, as part of a bigger destination experience under development, visitors will also have direct access to exciting and carefully selected dining, retail, and entertainment venues.

The 622 room Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana is a multi-phase renovation of two current Meliá hotels, Paradisus Grand Cana and Garden Suites by Meliá, into a five-star all-inclusive resort on the Dominican Republic’s Bávaro Beach. Phase one comprises a world-class spa and fitness center, 432 opulent accommodations, three swimming pools, nine speciality restaurants, and a renamed Paradisus Grand Cana.

Phase two, the Garden Suites by Meliá branding, will feature 190 rooms and be finished by the end of 2023. Common areas are infused with the natural beauty of the Caribbean region and are created to stimulate lively, refined fun that accentuates the property’s striking elements.

Suites

Suites at the hotel range in size from 800 to 2990 square feet and have roomy living areas, furnished private balconies, and terraces with stunning views of the garden or main pool.

The roomy suites provide a lounge space with a smart TV and comfortable chairs as well as a dining area and bar counter for morning coffee or cocktails. One 1-use pass to Katmandu Park will be given to any resort visitor who books a standard suite.

In order to enhance their experience, guests can now upgrade to The Beyond Suite Experience, which offers an elevated suite and other advantages. Personalized turn-downs, a supper experience by the Beyond Pool (one per stay), priority reservations for attractions and restaurants, a Beyond Concierge, and a multi-day entry to Katmandu Park are a few of the extras available. A number of lodging options, including swim-up suites with a soothing whirlpool on their private terrace, are also available to guests with this upgrade.

A luxurious spa and international cuisine
There will be nine restaurant concepts available at Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana, offering a wide range of international cuisine. Diners can savor dishes from Asian, Latin, Mediterranean, and Caribbean menus that feature global flavors made with regional ingredients. The four bars on the resort provide premium liquors and wines.

Travelers with refined tastes can splurge on the amenities and therapies at MAIA Signature Spa by Natura Bissé. The MAIA Signature Spa sets the standard for fusing cutting-edge methods with modern technology and conventional therapies to offer calm, tranquility, and complete relaxation.

First Theme Park in the Caribbean: Foundation of Resortainment

The resort, a brand-new theme park, and a shopping, dining, and entertainment area dubbed Falcon’s Central make up the $350 million Falcon’s Beyond Destinations entertainment complex, which also includes the Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana. Customers may enhance their Caribbean beach holiday with a theme park experience at the brand-new Katmandu Park | Punta Cana thanks to the property’s “resortainment” offerings.

The cutting-edge Katmandu Park | Punta Cana will take visitors on an immersive storytelling journey with the help of four signature attractions and many exclusive, never-before-seen ride technology. Beyond with Cutting-Edge BeyondMETM Technology

Beginning in early 2023, resort visitors will also have access to BeyondMETM, a brand-new fan loyalty and online game platform that will let people of all ages interact, customize, and get rewarded for their participation in both virtual and physical activities. The BeyondME smart wearable technology lets visitors to perform cashless transactions and interact with different attractions and immersive touch points around the properties, as well as access to rooms, Katmandu Park | Punta Cana rides, park passes, and unique profiles.

By engaging in various real-world activities across the resort, park, Falcon’s Central, and virtual experiences within the BeyondME web app, as well as by playing online games that support BeyondME, BeyondME encourages players to accumulate “experience points,” or XP. XP points can be exchanged for a variety of savings and improvements. In order to access higher BeyondME status tiers and convert MeliaRewards points to XP, MeliáRewards members will soon be able to link their accounts. During their stay, guests in a Beyond Suite will earn more XP points and a higher degree of status.

Two additional kid-friendly amenities are available at Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana: the Habitat Club and BLAST! Waterpark. A contemporary and roomy kids club called Habitat Club enables kids of all ages to explore their various passions via creative activity programs. BLAST! at the resort Kids may enjoy a variety of attractions and water slides at the waterpark to escape the Caribbean heat.

In the following years, Meliá and Falcon’s will build more Falcon’s Beyond Destination locations all over the world, including ones in Tenerife, the Canary Islands, and Mexico.

At double occupancy, the opening rates for the Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana are $420 per night for basic rooms and $700 per night for Beyond Suites.
