Following a study of epidemological studies in the United Kingdom, Public Health Authorities of Malta have concluded that UK will no longer be considered in the red zone for travel, but will instead be moved to the amber zone.
Any traveller arriving in Malta from one of the countries on the amber list must show proof of a negative PCR Covid-19 test conducted within 72 hours of arrival.
Travellers arriving in Malta from any of these countries who do not produce such a test will be subjected to monitoring and may be quarantined.
This notification will take effect immediately as of April 27th, 2021.
