Following the pandemic, KLM has announced intentions to restore its Asia network this summer.
This summer, the Dutch airline will run flights to 16 Asian locations, more than double the amount of flights it operated to the region in 2022. They include daily flights to Beijing and Shanghai, three weekly flights to Hong Kong, and twice weekly flights via Incheon to Taipei.
KLM will offer twice-weekly flights to Osaka and three times-weekly flights to Tokyo, both also via Incheon. Moreover, it will run a twice-weekly direct flight to Tokyo, expanding to five direct flights per week in September.
This summer, KLM will also fly to several Asian cities, including Denpasar and Jakarta via Singapore, Manila (five times weekly) via Kuala Lumpur, daily flights to Delhi and Mumbai, and a five times weekly schedule to Bangalore.
This summer, KLM will fly from Schiphol to 165 locations, including 96 European and 69 intercontinental destinations, with fuel coming from 17 UK airports.
In North America, the airline will travel to 18 different locations, including New York, Atlanta, Austin, Washington, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in the US, and Toronto in Canada, where KLM will extend its schedule from 10 to 13 flights per week. Edmonton, Montreal, and Vancouver will also be served.
At its busiest, KLM will operate up to 10 flights a week to Curacao from the Caribbean, with daily flights also planned to Aruba and Bonaire. There will be three weekly flights to Port of Spain and Sint Maarten and six weekly flights to Paramaribo.
