Starting on 25th March, JetBlue will run a daily daytime service between Heathrow and New York.
The airline now operates two flights each day, one during the day and one at night, to New York, increasing its capacity at Heathrow and enabling the new service.
The new daytime flight will take off from JFK at 8.30 a.m. local time, landing in London at 8.45 p.m., and departing from Heathrow at 8.25 a.m., landing in New York at 11.40 a.m.
The airline has cut back from two to one Gatwick route to make room for the second Heathrow trip.
There will still be five daily transatlantic flights offered by the carrier from Heathrow and Gatwick to Boston.
