Jet2 Upgraded App Includes Negative Covid Test Results Capability

Customers may now upload and store crucial travel papers on the Jet2 and Jet2holidays mobile applications, thanks to new capabilities.

These include abroad nation admission forms and negative Covid-19 test results, which can all be kept in one place in a folder labeled “helpful documents.”

Holidaymakers can also get safe travel information and entrance criteria for their trip, allowing them to travel without using paper.

On the Jet2holidays app, package holidaymakers can also access documentation such as boarding permits, flight, and transfer coupons.

Push notifications are included in the app to keep customers updated during their travel, such as reminders to complete passenger locator forms 48 hours before returning to the UK and information about the time and location of their coach transfer to the airport on the day of departure.

Jet2.com boarding passes and other documentation can be seen and downloaded by flight-only clients.

The unveiling of the new function comes after the airline and operator resumed flights and vacations to countries on the Amber List on July 19.

Steve Heapy, the company’s CEO, stated: “As a result of government travel requirements, there are additional documents for holidaymakers to be aware of such as test results and passenger locator forms. 

“As we start to welcome back more customers and increase our offering to include flights and holidays to over 40 quarantine-free destinations, we want to make the process of traveling with us as smooth as possible.

“For this reason, we are introducing functionality for customers to upload their own travel documents to a central location within the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays apps.

“The new feature allows customers to store all their Covid-19 related health and travel documents in one place, eliminating the need for unnecessary paperwork and helping to make travel as easy and fuss-free as possible.”
