Jet2 Adds More Than 45,000 Seats For the October Half-Term 2023

For the October half-term in 2023, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more than 45,000 seats to locations including the Canary Islands and Turkey.

For the next half-term vacations, more than 50 additional weekly flights have been added to Izmir, Bodrum, Antalya, and Dalaman in Turkey as well as Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, and Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Nine Jet2.com and Jet2holiday UK locations, including Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, and Stansted, are selling the extra capacity.

In response to an increase in demand, the brands have also expanded their summer 2023 programs to include Spain, Portugal, Greece, the Balearic Islands, Italy, Cyprus, and Croatia.

The 2023 October half-term period is proving to be a “very popular time” for families to take a vacation, according to Steve Heapy, chief executive of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.

“In response to that, we have added additional capacity across popular destinations in the Canary Islands and Turkey, as well as to other sunshine favourites in the Mediterranean,” he added.

“While the size and scale of our summer 2023 programme means we are already offering unrivalled choice, we are expanding this even further and giving customers and independent travel agents even more flexibility to book or enjoy a holiday.”
