Next month, Japan will loosen its Covid-19 entry restrictions even more by allowing travelers from all nations to enter on package tours without a guide and raising the daily arrivals cap to 50,000.
The modifications, which take effect on 7th September, were announced by the prime minister on Wednesday.
According to Reuters, Kishida stated that Japan might further relax restrictions while considering virus outbreaks both inside and outside the nation, traveler demand, and border controls put in place by neighboring countries.
“From the standpoint of making use of merits from the weak yen, we’ll ease border controls further,” he reportedly said.
The action follows Japan’s gradual reopening to tourists in June, which ended a more than two-year ban.
