Italy is the latest country to indicate that it will shortly remove all remaining Covid entrance requirements.
The country’s ministry of health announced on Tuesday (31st May) that the limitations would be lifted on Wednesday (1st June).
It implies that all travelers, regardless of where they started their journey, will no longer be required to show proof of immunization against – or recent recovery from – Covid-19, or evidence of a recent negative Covid-19 test.
Previously, travelers had to show proof of having completed their primary immunization within the previous nine months or confirmation of a recent booster.
Cyprus, which made a similar announcement on Tuesday, as well as several other EU members, have followed suit.
