Israel to Welcome Fully Vaccinated UK Tourists Next Month

Individual travelers who have been properly vaccinated against Covid-19 will be authorized to enter Israel beginning 1st November, according to local news reports.

According to reports, a cooperative agreement by the country’s prime minister, tourism, and health ministries will allow travelers who have received vaccines from Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Sinovac, and Sinopharm within the last six months to be admitted.

According to Reuters, those who have had one vaccine shot and can show proof of recovery from Covid will be allowed to enter. The decision is understood to be contingent on cabinet approval.

Since March 2020, Israel’s borders have been mainly restricted to international visitors, but small groups of vaccinated tourists and first-degree relatives of citizens have apparently been allowed to enter in recent months.

Its health ministry has issued a warning about the potential for new Covid variations.
