InterContinental Mina Al Arab Ras Al-Khaimah to Open on 1st February 2022

The new InterContinental RAK, dubbed the “crown jewel” of RAK Properties’ portfolio, InterContinental Mina Al Arab Ras Al-Khaimah, is due to open on 1st February 2022.

Al Hayat Island will be home to the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa. More than AED5 billion has been set aside for investment in the island’s development initiatives. This will become Ras Al Khaimah’s new community and entertainment center.

It includes hotels and resorts, villas and furnished apartments, a commercial mall, and a beach, as well as a selection of recreation and entertainment options.

The new InterContinental in RAK will be part of IHG Hotels and Resorts’ luxury portfolio. The Arabian Sea will be visible from the rooms, suites, and villas. In Ras Al Khaimah, the project will debut the first Club InterContinental Experience.

Two swimming pools, a gym, a Planet Trekkers kid’s and teen’s club, and a tennis court will be available at the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa, as well as a variety of world culinary experiences.

In the meantime, the Anantara Mina Al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah is on schedule to open in 2022. Maldivian resorts were used as inspiration for the property. 306 guest rooms, suites, and overwater villas will be available (a first of its kind in the emirate). It will have an exploration and environmental learning center, as well as a mangrove-lined eco-reserve. An Asian restaurant and a seafood grill, as well as a beach and pool bar, will be included in the hotel’s food and beverage offerings.
