In 2024, after undergoing refurbishment, IHG Hotels & Resorts will increase its footprint in France when it debuts the InterContinental Chantilly – Chateau Mont Royal.
The early 20th-century chateau, which has 107 rooms and Louis XVI-style architecture, will be run by IHG under the terms of a management agreement. Two eateries, a bar, and a summer terrace will all be present at the InterContinental Chantilly – Chateau Mont Royal.
There will also be a tennis court, an indoor pool, a gym, a sauna, and a jacuzzi, along with 11 meeting rooms. Along with three additional InterContinental properties in Paris, Bordeaux, and Marseille, IHG’s French portfolio currently includes InterContinental Paris Le Grand and InterContinental Lyon – Hotel Dieu.
IHG Hotels & Resorts vice president of development for Europe, Willemijn Geels, stated: “Adding another landmark hotel in one of Europe’s most desired destinations is a proud moment for everyone at IHG. We’re delighted to be maintaining the momentum of our Luxury & Lifestyle growth and demonstrate our commitment to growing our portfolio in European leisure destinations.”
