IHG’s avid hotels Continues Rapid Expansion with Opening of New Property in Atlanta-Conyers

With the opening of the new avid hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20, IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the top hotel groups in the world with more than 6,000 destinations under 18 brands, is celebrating the opening of its 60th open property. The facility is avid Hotels’ sixth in Georgia.

With 11 new openings scheduled for 2022 and another 145* planned in the Americas area, including 16 currently under construction, avid hotels are expected to almost double in size over the next few years, demonstrating its appeal to midscale travelers.

Avowed hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20 will provide the brand’s hallmarks that customers have come to love and expect, such as the appropriate size of the rooms, comfortable beds, and soundproofing for a good night’s sleep, as well as dependable technology, a sizable fitness center, and the complimentary Good all-around grab-and-go breakfast (along with bean-to-cup coffee). The 95-room hotel, owned by COMFORT WORLD USA LLC, is just 24 miles east of downtown Atlanta and minutes from Georgia International Horse Park, Cherokee Run Golf Club, and Olde Town Conyers, making it the ideal stopover for travelers on their way to or from large cities.

The avid hotel Toronto – Vaughan Southwest, the avid hotel Odessa Northwest, and the avid hotel Atlanta – Conyers I-20 are some of the other recently opened hotels. With locations already operating in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and new hotels entering the market in Tuscaloosa, Austin, and Tulsa later this year, avid hotels’ current attention is on the brand’s continuous expansion in the Americas region.
