IHG, the InterContinental Hotels Group, has revealed intentions to launch another Hotel Indigo location in west London.
The current K West Hotel and Spa will undergo “major” renovations and a makeover as part of IHG’s agreement with Lancaster Landmark Hotel Group, and will thereafter reopen as the Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherds Bush in the spring of 2025.
The boutique company will now have six locations in London after taking over the 252 room hotel. A restaurant, a bar, a spa with a hydrotherapy pool, and other amenities will be available at the newly restored hotel.
IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Willemijn Geels, vice president of development for Europe, said:
“We are delighted to have added Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherds Bush to our ever-growing UK portfolio.
“As one of IHG’s luxury & lifestyle brands, Hotel Indigo is continuing to grow in popularity, and this is reflected in the interest we are seeing from owners and investors.”
First introduced in 2004 as a boutique-style brand, Hotel Indigo now has 41 properties in Europe and 16 more are currently in the planning phases. With 119 more hotels currently under construction, there are 143 Hotel Indigo hotels open worldwide.
